Description
Co-authors Richard Crosthwaite and photographer Paul Gavin provide 220 pages of self-published Autavia love in Heuer Autavia Chronographs 1962-85.
Heuer Autavia Chronographs (1962 – 1985) covers most of the vintage Autavia references produced by Heuer. From the early all lume hand 1st execution in 1962 to the PVD models in the mid 1980s, the book is filled with beautiful hi-res pictures printed on thick matte “photography” paper. It is also littered with current and critical information on important models such as serial ranges, movement details and bezels. This book contains almost 80 pages alone on the important screw back case models which have become a focus for the collecting community, being Heuers first named chronographs. In addition, other “Holy Grails” such as Sifferts, Chronomatics, Exotics, GMTs and rare special order/test dials adorn the remaining pages. This image wrapped hard back edition covers 220 pages in total and is an indispensable guide for a serious Heuer collector and will look great on your coffee table too!
Richard Crosthwaite previously published Heuer Monaco – Design Classic and runs Heuer Central, Vintage Heuer Autavia and the Vintage Heuer Price Guide. You can also find him on instagram at heuervintage.
