Caveats:
– The price points are often *asking* prices from dealers and forums, when final prices are not known (the asking price can often be 20% or more above the final sale price)
– There are some clear public sale outliers, one from Christie’s in 2015 for $47,500, a couple sales in the $30ks, and one from Phillips in 2018 for just under $29k. In 2021, with less quality vintage pieces available, we see a good sale at Christie’s Online for $27,500.
