If you’re going to be changing straps and bracelets, please don’t set your watch down on your kitchen counter. Make sure to pick up a case cushion to keep your timepiece safe from wear. We use the Bergeon 5394-PG case cushion, which is 80mm in diameter, matching our preference to have a bit of extra room. If you prefer something a bit smaller, there are other sizes available, such as the commonly used 53mm Bergeon 5394-P.
Aside from a plastic ring, there are also options from Bergeon for a metal ring (freaks us out as our ineptitude might result in a scratched case), and also “gel” cushions (reversible even) that are worthwhile to check out – see the Bergeon 5393-75.
